You can add the DMSO after the Ivermectin, or make a paste with the two

I put on the IVM and waited about five minutes, and then I applied the DMSO over it.

I really couldn't answer that honestly. If I was boating or fishing and I knew I was going to be in the sun for hours. I would use whatever my wife bought. Spray on 50spf from Sams club or Ross or whatever was on sale usually. But for the last ten years I always wore long sleeve spf blocking shirts if I was on the water.
