25 years I’ve been in this job. Never in all that time have I felt so undervalued, exhausted & demoralised. Never have I wanted to leave more. But I can’t as I need to pay my mortgage. I’d have to leave my home to leave teaching. We need the tories out. They simply don’t care 😡

Teachers' pay DOES NOT affect inflation! Neither does Nurses', Doctors', Firefighters', Ambulance Drivers, GPs' or any other public sector workers' pay - because they don't produce a commodity that is used to calculate inflation. Maybe the politicians should go back to school!

@Suziey33 You just need to believe…in everything this Govt says…just believe&we will get through this……. in the meantime we must all make sacrifices to ensure our well off Cabinet members don’t have to worry about their own mortgages,& can devote 100% of their energies to reassuring us

They are quite literally making it up as they go along. Whilst none of it affects them. We need people in charge with skin in the game.

Rishi Sunak is great at delivering....any old excuse, that is.
