Let's take a moment and discuss the US seizure of MT Skipper off the coast of Venezuela. This ship sounds off several alarms for its past actions including ship-to-ship transfers of sanctioned cargo; sanctioned cargo movements; sailing into contested areas, and no clear insurance and flag of registry. What promoted the seizure specifically for the US was two loads of Iranian oil shipped to China in the first half of the year. The US issues an arrest order for the ship (yes, ships can be arrested). To execute this order, it has to be done by law enforcement, hence the US Coast Guard participation. The bonus appears that they waited for the ship to load a cargo of Venezuelan crude for Cuba before the seizure. The ship is underway and heading north.

Before the airstrike on the Mustafa family in Sarrin - the Turkish airforce carried out an airstrike south of Kobane (north of Qara Qozak) on the Hasnaw family where the father and his 2 sons aged 12 and 16 were wounded. Video 3&4 show the shrapnel wounds from the attack carried out by the Turkish military (I blurred it)

The Russian ship was carrying important cargo to North Korea, but it was sunk last year. According to the investigation, the ship was carrying two 45-tonne nuclear reactor covers for a nuclear icebreaker of the 10510 project being built. The ship departed from St. Petersburg and was heading to Vladivostok via the Mediterranean Sea. The official cargo included two 45-tonne nuclear reactor covers for a nuclear icebreaker and two German 380-tonne mobile port cranes Liebherr 420, which were to be installed in the port of Vladivostok. On December 22, explosions occurred on the ship, and on the 23rd, it sank.
