Trying to see beyond your unhappiness, 'bad luck' & bad choices is confronting & can feel impossible...BUT it isn't!! It's possible! Not over night but gradually...taking ONE DAY AT A TIME! Be kind to yourself! Changing your mindset & working on overhauling years of negative thought processes is far from easy but in doing so, you'll reclaim your POWER & take back control of your own happiness. Choosing to go out into the sunshine to drink a cuppa (instead of staying cooped up indoors) won't make your problems disappear...BUT it gives you a few seconds of CALM to REFOCUS your thoughts & a dose of Vitamin D & fresh air, while feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin. In making that choice, you reinforce your self-worth: you deserve time for yourself & you deserve to feel good. I’m very fortunate to have never cooked aka hot temp’d an engine on an aircraft. The older you get, the more you know what you can get away with. Yeah, I know the book say’s a minimum of XX.X volts on the battery to start but the girl will start below the minimum. This what we call, “Flying by the seat of your pants” This is not a derogatory term but you learn to feel your aircraft by the seat of your pants and know the aircraft will talk back to you when they’re not happy.
