The old adage is still true though. Democrats fall in love. Republicans fall in line.

Irrespective of if there is a savior or not the house democrats are showing they have absolutely no idea how to be an opposition party. Look how the republicans treated Obama when they had absolutely no power. Democrats lack the fight and it looks crazy in 2025.

As a Dem, I'm sick of the lack luster leadership from Dems. How was the Dem party not prepared for Trump and Repub bull. I'm so effn sick and tired of it. We already now the Repubs are sold out to Trump so why are Dems nor prepared. Always voting against ourselves.

I disagree. Yes there was energy/opposition in the 2019/2020 but one of the reason it did not sustain is due to the lack of a central leader. Once Dems realize they need their own version of Trump the better off they’ll be. This we a big tent party and scattered has done no good.

Wrong. You need a leader. This take the left has had where they think organizing is antithetical to having a leader is why movements die. Dems stopped having a party leader when Biden was elected. You need both.
