Звернулася до всіх учасників Всесвітньої конференції Спікерів парламентів у Женеві - усвідомити масштаби викрадених, вивезених і депортованих росією українських дітей! ▪️19 тисяч 546 дітей – лише офіційна кількість, яких викрала чи депортувала росія. ▪️1 мільйон 600 тисяч українських дітей, які проживають на ТОТ. Вони не мають права на власну мову і власну історію, на молитву в українській церкві. Їх вчать ненавидіти Україну, мілітаризують і готують воювати проти неї. Це є злочином, який називається індоктринація. Цей злочин розслідується Міжнародним кримінальним судом, його засуджують міжнародні організації та місії. Ми щиро вдячні парламентам світу, які ухвалили резолюції на підтримку українських дітей. Ми вимагаємо їх безумовного повернення. Я закликала долучатися до Міжнародної коаліції з питань повернення дітей Brink Kids Back UA, до якої вже входять понад 40 держав. Разом нам вдалось повернути 1465 дітей. 🪙 In the 13th century CE, Ramban (Nachmanides) was forced to leave Spain at the age of 73 following a public religious debate in Barcelona. Despite the dangers, he made his way to the Land of Israel, arriving at the port city of Acre. There, he was shown ancient coins held by the elders of the land, including “half-shekel” coins that were used for offerings during the time of the Temple. Ramban wrote to his son, describing the coins and revising his earlier commentary on the Torah (Exodus 30:13), where he had discussed their weight and value. In his letter, he described the coins’ designs: one side bore an almond staff, possibly representing Aaron’s rod, while the other showed a flask, likely symbolizing the jar of manna. Surrounding these images was Paleo Hebrew text, which Samaritan elders could still read, according to him, the text on the coins was “Shekel of Shekels” (שקל השקלים) on one side and “Holy Jerusalem” (ירושלים הקדושה) on the other. (Technically, it’s more likely the actual text was שקל ישראל - Shekel of Israel) Later on in the 15th century CE, replicas of these shekels became popular in Europe. The first creation of these replicas is attributed to Georg Emmerich, the mayor of Gerlitz in Prussia - Germany. In 1465 he visited the Land of Israel as a Christian pilgrim. On his return, he brought with him an ancient shekel and said that the shekel was one of the thirty shekels that Judas Iscariot received from the Romans Among the Jews of Europe there were those who used these coins as a reminder of the mitzvot of half the shekel. Others used them for the fulfillment of the mitzvah of giving gifts to the poor on the holiday of Purim. These “fake shekels” found their way to art creations from that time period.
