No words to describe the appreciation of Jeff Wicks 🇿🇦 and News24 🇿🇦 What we are seeing at the Madlanga Commission and the Parliamentary Ad Hoc Committee hearings is not because of the 6 July 2025 press conference by Mkhwanazi but because the brilliant Jeff Wicks kept this story of BABITA DEOKARAN alive. I recently watched Jeff in a podcast SMWX, you could feel the emotion in his voice. It was not a job for him. It was not about getting paid. It was to give voiceless heroes like BABITA DEOKARAN a voice. It took guts and courage to do this. The current hearings are because of JEFF WICKS and NEWS24. NOT BECAUSE MKWANAZI. Btw, Jeff said he has not had a peaceful drive for the last four years. Don’t forget he has young wife. Jeff and News24 are the real definition of “NO DNA, ONLY RSA” Basically everything you hearing you will find in perhaps one of the best books in democratic South Africa, THE SHADOW STATE, if you have not read it as yet pls get South Africa’s no 1 selling book, THE SHADOW STATE, INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM AT ITS BEST. Jeff basically put his life at stake,to get to the bottom of the truth. He had her gadgets. That is the reason why. Others Hawks take the gadgets and the case never sees the light of the day. We heard again how the corrupt the Hawks are from the top. Never forget , Floyd SHIVAMBU had direct discussions with ex HAWKS head Godfrey Lebeya regarding VBS. This is the reason he is not arrested. This the reason Julius Malema is not arrested. This is the reason Jacob Zuma is not arrested. Thank you Jeff Wicks, thank you News24, you are the real heroes. Oh , don’t ever forget, Jeff told us that during the COVID looting spree, Gauteng Health Department suspended BABITA DEOKARAN without pay, because they knew she would never approve the massive wasteful expenditure and looting spree. The CFO IN Gauteng Health who Babita reported the looting of tembisa hospital, was suspended after her death with full pay. After the COVID looting scandal Babita was cleared and was back at work. The CFO Lerato Madyo was suspended with full pay, then resigned from her position just before the conclusion of a disciplinary inquiry into 13 misconduct charges. This allowed her to keep her pension and a MASSIVE R3 million bonus payout. JUST IMAGINE THE LADY WHO MOST LIKELY GOT BABITA DEOKARAN KIL*ED GOT A R3MILLION BONUS PAYOUT BESIDES HER PENSION FROM THE PANYAZA LESUFI CONTROLLED GAUTENG. No action taken against her. Babita Deokarans daughter try’s to build her life without her mother,an orphaned daughter. WHY NOT TAKE THAT R3 million from that CFO and give it to the orphaned daughter of Babita Deokaran. The more Lesufi talks ,the more I resent him. Because nothing from his mouth is the truth. The first step is to get Helen Zillle elected as a mayor of COJ.

🚨🔥BREAKING: Tembisa Hospital R2 Billion Procurement Scandal Explodes In Court Today, But The Biggest Looter Of Them All, Cyril Ramaphosa’s Nephew Hangwani Morgan Maumela, Mastermind Who Knew and Orchestrated Everything‼️‼️ Special Investigation Unit, investigations have identified Hangwani Morgan Maumela (nephew of President Cyril Ramaphosa) as the head of one of the three major syndicates responsible for looting over R2 billion from Tembisa Hospital. His syndicate alone allegedly siphoned off R820 million through a web of 41 fraudulent companies, rigged tenders, massively inflated prices and “ghost” deliveries of non-existent goods and services between 2019 and 2021‼️ Hospital provincial manager Zacharia Tshisele and Hawks Sergeant Papi Tsie are back in the Pretoria Magistrates Court facing corruption charges‼️ They allegedly tried to bury the investigation with a R100 000 bribe, Tshisele handed over the cash thinking two Hawks officers would kill the probe and turn him into a protected state witness. Instead, the Hawks ran a sting and arrested both. Tshisele has already coughed up R13.5 million of his ill-gotten gains to the Special Investigation Unit. The Special Investigation Unit has already traced R122 million in corrupt payments linked to dodgy tenders at the hospital‼️ 🔥 Babita Deokaran, a senior Gauteng health official and whistleblower, was assassinated on August 23, 2021, in Johannesburg. She was shot multiple times in a targeted ambush outside her home after exposing a R850-million corruption scheme at Tembisa Hospital. While six men were convicted for her murder, the intellectual authors remain unknown. South Africa, this is the level of rot we’re dealing with everyday. Will it ever end ⁉️ 🔥Cyril, you know about your nephew’s criminal activity, you are a bloody disgusting president‼️

An Ode to Babita Deokaran She began quietly 30 years ago as a clerk, in the service of the state and worked her way to chief director of financial accounting. Step by step, through dedication and honesty, she rose until she carried one of the heaviest burdens the finances of a hospital meant for the poorest among us. It was not ambition, not politics, but conscience that guided her. She saw the numbers, she saw the theft, and she refused to look away. R850 million flagged by her hand became the light that revealed the full rot: more than R2 billion looted from the sick, the dying, the desperate. Money meant for bandages, for medicine, for life itself stolen. Babita Deokaran paid the ultimate price for her honesty. We mourn her not only as a whistle-blower, not only as a martyr, but as a public servant who believed her duty was sacred. Her death will forever shame those who profit from the suffering of the poor. Let history record: if we know about this grand theft today, it is because she stood up when silence was safer. And let us also honour those who carried her torch journalists like Jeff Wicks 🇿🇦 of News24, who refused to let her story be buried, who insisted that South Africa look at the truth, no matter how ugly. Babita’s name must never fade. Her story is a prayer, a warning, and a promise: That one life of integrity can expose billions of rands in betrayal. That courage, even when it costs everything, can illuminate a nation’s conscience. May her sacrifice not be in vain.

I want to put it on the record that I am not the only one saying public infrastructure has collapsed due to corruption in Zimbabwe’s government. Meet Justice Loice Matanda-Moyo. She is a Zimbabwean judge, former head of the Zimbabwean Anti-Corruption Commission, and is currently the head of Zimbabwe’s National Prosecution Service. Here, she says Zimbabwe is in trouble because of corruption. She states that it remains one of the major barriers preventing Zimbabwe from succeeding as an economy and is causing its public infrastructure to deteriorate. Justice Loice Matanda-Moyo specifically mentions the collapse of public health and schools and points out that corruption is the root cause. She goes on to say that government figures estimate the loss of revenue due to corruption at US$1.8 billion. We know that it is more but let us work with the government’s own figure of US$1.8 billion. All of Zimbabwe’s central/referral hospitals need only US$60 million a year to run smoothly without any shortages. US$1.8 billion could run Zimbabwe’s central hospitals for thirty years. US$1.8 billion could build 1,800 kilometres of tarred road from scratch. Out of Zimbabwe’s six central hospitals, five were built by the colonial governments. The only central hospital built by ZANUPF is Chitungwiza, which was an upgrade. US$1.8 billion could build seven central hospitals like Parirenyatwa or Sally Mugabe Hospital with a capacity of 1,800 beds. South Africa is building Tygerberg Central Hospital in the Western Cape for US$260 million. It is way advanced than Zimbabwean hospitals which were built over decades ago. Sally Mugabe Hospital is 117 years old, Parirenyatwa is 72 years old, Mpilo Hospital is 82 years old, UBH is 85 years old, and Ingutsheni is 117 years old. Chitungwiza is 42 years old; it was upgraded to a central hospital 18 years ago. These are Zimbabwe’s central/referral hospitals. ZANUPF has never built a single central hospital from the ground, it only upgraded Chitungwiza. This is what corruption has done to Zimbabwe in the words of Justice Loice Matanda-Moyo who heads Zimbabwe’s National Prosecution Service and is the former head of the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission and was also a High Court Judge.
