He explains: “Well, he (Tarantino) let me help him with that, actually. He said, “You know, I just want you to see this Godard movie where these people are doing the Twist, and they’re doing it in a certain fashion, and I kind of want to capture that fashion.” And I said, “You know, that’s very cool. But, you know, I grew up with the Twist. There are a lot of other fun dances that you could also include, if you wanted to.” He said, “Well, like what?” I said, “Well, there was the Batman. There was the Hitchhiker.
