Tariffs (taxes paid by Americans) will bail out the farmers harmed by the trade war started by...wait for it...tariffs. This simple cause and effect relation isn't painted clearly enough in this report (or others).

America's agriculture might never recover even after Trump leaves office since China is now heavily investing and outsourcing it's raw material from Brazil and Africa.

Trump understands soybeans as well as he understands most everything: very little or not at all. The man spent his life PRETENDING to be things. America is now, tragically, bearing the consequence where a popular margin of only 1.5% of the popular vote allowed the EC to seat him.

So, to be clear, mid west US farmers lost trade to China because of Trumps ridiculous tariffs. They now are poor, the market has gone to Argentina, and Trump is going to prop up the farmers for now with the tariff money, which will dry up. He has done this to farmers before.
