When I was planning to visit Nigeria, Lady B asked that she wanted a laptop, so I added her to the list, and she later reached out to me to say, she will like to meet with me upon arrival in lagos, but she wants me to know that her real face isnt what shes using online, so, she said she can call me on video so I can see her face, I just told her not to worry that it was fine. I didnt have the time to meet with her while I was in Nigeria but Sandra Ibeh was the one in constant conversation. So, i have been speaking with Lady B, and I know her voice, I have lots of voicenotes from her, I decided to call her on a video call. At least the device that changes voice wont be in her throat. I did a video call, I told her I will record and post it so people who have heard her voice before can compare if the voice on the video call is different. In life, we should be very careful how we quickly throw others under the bus. For what I know, she has been of great help publicly posting about the laptop project, she is always posting and reposting. She stepped forward to make this facts known, why treat her like a criminal? It is unfair. I attached the video call recording for our perusal. God bless you all.

This is long but worth it: Yesterday I was watching the 2024 Candace/Tristan Tate interview to check my facts on a post, and it gave me an insight into her thinking. Candace justifies her defense of these two pornographer brothers based on their support for HER. Bc they had her back, she views them as good, and she excuses their past. She contrasts that with someone like Andrew Klavan who she thinks betrayed her, which makes him evil. “I don’t support pornography… I’m aware of their history… it’s easy for people who had easy lives to say what they would or could not get involved in at any time… Also, the people that you think are evil, like this person – I will tell you, when everything was going down with me, you and Andrew from the second it was happening were like, ‘We have your back, 100%.” It’s striking how Candace can excuse two men who were admittedly involved in sexual exploitation while framing Erika Kirk as a sex trafficker. It’s easily explained by her own words: “I will go with my instincts of the people who I think have the capacity to do tremendous good- even if their backgrounds are not squeaky clean- over the people who have squeaky clean backgrounds and I believe have the potential to do real evil in this world.” Candace decides who is good & who is evil based on how they relate to her, and then she condemns or exonerates them accordingly.

Athena talked to us about her rivalry with Asuka and said she would like to have one more match with her. “Oh, man. Like Asuka is one of those people, that’s a forever rival for me. Like when we were back on the indies, we actually ended up wrestling at Shimmer Women’s Wrestling. That’s where we met. We had one of the hardest hitting matches I think I’ve had in my career then, and then fast forward to WWE NXT for the NXT Women’s Championship. Asuka is my yin to my yang. I really hope she’s not stepping away. I’ve actually been trying to get a hold of her because I lost a whole bunch of people’s numbers when I switched my phone and everything. But man, talk about someone who’s just the epitome of what legendary status is or what a living legend is. I, to some extent, don’t feel like people really understand how much she’s done for wrestling as a whole. Like from grinding on the indies to being like an independent contractor in Japan to getting signed to WWE. Not only that, like just excelling in WWE in every form and facet from match to match, but never changing who she was as a person, a character. I couldn’t be more proud, more happy for her. I hate her in that same breath, of course. I also feel like I have to have one more match eventually and hope that this isn’t it. This isn’t the long goodbye, if you will. But like, Asuka’s one of those people that I wouldn’t be who I am as a performer, as an athlete, if she wasn’t in my life. If she wasn’t on the opposite side of the ring. I don’t think I would have gotten anything really if I didn’t have that experience with her."

Over the years, many of you have joined me in celebrating this truly special girl turned young woman, Maddie. I am heartbroken to share with you that Maddie has passed away at the age of 21. I’m sharing a glimpse into my friendship with Maddie because I want people to know how truly special she was. I met Maddie when Kevin and I were filming Kevin Can Wait. Make-A-Wish America reached out and told us that a young girl’s wish was to meet us. I was so touched. This beautiful little girl was a fan of King of Queens? And we of course said yes. Maddie and her family came to visit us on set, and what started as a meet-and-greet turned into a real, almost decade-long, lasting friendship. Maddie would text me almost every day. She sent me funny videos, shared stories about her life, and came out to LA with her family, where I attempted to get her to expand her palate (though she always circled back to her favorite, a Caesar salad). We shared many beautiful moments that have kept me positive in moments of difficulty and darkness, and she was about to come to LA again, where I planned on celebrating her for her birthday and her recent accomplishments. Maddie had Spinal Muscular Atrophy type two (SMA), but she never let it define her. She was excited to begin advocacy work and had recently told me she was officially going to start speaking publicly about her experiences, not even for herself, but to help others. She had big dreams, and I was so proud watching her grow into the leader I always knew she was. Maddie loved her family and friends fiercely. For her young age, she would prefer to be with friends and family, playing games and our favorite, Phase 10. She loved all things girly: nails, hair, makeup, the Timberwolves. And she hated snow (though she lived in Minnesota), and more importantly, she loved helping people. She wrote me love notes daily, and I only hope I had let her know how much joy she brought me. It is me who hopes that she knew how much I loved her. I received this text from her friend Emma, whom I knew from the many funny videos Maddie sent me of the two of them. I’ve included it below. After flying to Minnesota to say goodbye (although she had already passed while I was in the air), I wanted her to know what she meant to me. That she was thinking of me in this way and wanted me to have the things she mentioned, that she cared so much, is also truly touching and heartbreaking. Maddie had so much life ahead of her. Her disease didn’t stop her spirit or dim her light. She was hopeful, brilliant, and genuinely excited for her future. I will miss her texts, her videos, and hearing from her every day. They always made me smile. I will miss her humor and the light she brought into this world every single day. Maddie had just turned 21. Her little body just couldn’t contain the big, beautiful life she was living. She was a force, taken too soon.
