Our rescued bully mix, a survivor of brutal breeder exploitation, is finally healing. Her wounds have started to close, her body is gaining strength, and she is eating well again. Today we visited Power at 3 PM. The vets informed us that she didn't eat anything during the night, so they started an intravenous drip with fluids (saline/water) to keep her hydrated. Even during our visit she did not wanna eat anything, but we did manage to give her a solid 45 minutes of pure cuddles. We also received the three invoices covering the Operation that she will get on monday, daily hospitalization costs plus the full ultrasound they gave her. (and I'll upload them to the main GoFundMe page). The Veterinary confirmed that the operation will be an exploratory laparoscopy with a micro camera to see what's going on and there will be no actual removal of the mass just a biopsy of a small part of the tissue and lymph node to get analized. and that they will need to make a second surgery when her clinical situation get more clearer to get the mass removed and start the chemo. Sadly we have not yet a quote for those. Power will also get a gastric tube to make feeding her easier. With that, she will be able to come home to us wednesday while we wait for the removal surgery. She relaxed a lot during our visit and of course we will continue to update on her conditions daily! thank you so much to all the people that decided to help Power with the donations you have no idea how gratefull I am.

Heartbreaking 💔 It feels like slow poisoning or severe toxicity, yet nothing definite is appearing in the reports. She is highly dehydrated, has nasal discharge, and has not passed stool for a long time. Even after being given laxatives, there is still no relief. Her tiny body is growing weaker with every passing moment. This is the heartbreaking condition of our rescued pet dog who is currently fighting for her life. IV drips are being given, medicines are being tried, and every possible effort is being made to save her, but the chances of survival appear very low at this stage. It is devastating to watch an innocent soul suffer in such silence, pain, and helplessness. She looks at us with tired eyes, as if asking for one more chance to live. Our hearts are shattered, yet we continue to hope for a miracle. Please keep this precious soul in your kind prayers. He reacts defensively and argues logically A double mistake When a woman tries to start an argument with you, she's testing to see if you're stupid enough to take her seriously If you do take her seriously and argue with her, you fall into her frame and essentially fall into her trap. Whereas if you treat her like an adorable petulant child, you pass the test and sidestep the trap In this scene, Cal reacts the wrong way to Rose's shit test. He falls into her frame by arguing with her and he tries to change her mind using facts ROSE: I don't see what the fuss is about. It doesn't look any bigger than Mauretania CAL: [facts logic boring boring] When a man tries to convince a woman by using facts and logic, she instinctively realizes that he doesn't understand women, how they feel, how they function This is a massive turn off She doesn't want to be with a man who doesn't understand her true feminine essence So what should a man say instead of arguing with her? My two favorite standard replies to any sort of petulant shit test from a girl are "You're precious" and "You're adorable" Remember, she is like a child She wants to feel your mastery over her –– and she wants to see that you have mastery over your own emotions If Cal knew how to handle Rose, he would avoid arguing with her. Instead, he would say something like this: ROSE: I don't see what the fuss is about. How often do we hit those defining moments in life that completely change how we see ourselves and how others see us? For me, it was back in 9th grade. My older brother, who picked on me all the time, smirked and said, “You think you’re pretty tough now, don’t you?” I shot back, “I could take you.” His challenge: “Bring it on, Jethro.” It wasn’t exactly fair, but I locked him up, rolled him onto his back, and pinned him down. All he could say was, “You stink.” Things were never the same between us after that. Like these sisters, the youngest sibling launches a surprise switch kick, and suddenly the tables turn as they tumble onto the couch. It has been said.... “Watch out for the youngest sibling. 💗Pupdate💗 Bell was hidden in the back at Devore. Overlooked. Unseen. Waiting quietly while days passed until she found herself on the euthanasia list. Thanks to a volunteer, I noticed her and thanks to this village we were able to rescue her 🥹 She tested positive for Giardia, and we took her straight to the vet. And then came the part that broke us even more, the vet believes Bell was used for breeding.💔 A gentle soul whose body tells a story she never should have lived 🥺 But that chapter is closed now. Bell is safe & cared for. She is finally being treated with kindness instead of being used. No more cages, no more being forgotten & no more pain.
