Played a bit of “After the Goldrush” when I saw em on the King of Limbs tour. Thom loves Neil and I love them both

Very cool! Made me think of this. Thom playing After the Gold Rush at one Bridge concerts on the piano that Neil wrote the song on. Thom is able to completely capture the plaintiveness of Neil’s vocals.

All these years and I never saw the video. I still have cassettes with post-Bends rarities and bootlegs. Trading and discovering - I miss that a bit.

I was hoping this was Prince’s Cinnamon Girl being covered

Saw him play After the Goldrush leading into EIIRP at the Beacon Theater in 03 and it’s honestly not left my brain since.

Their version of On the Beach is great too…
