Iranian women are not bowing to Islamic tyranny. They want to get rid of sharia rule, and especially hijab (the compulsory wearing of a headscarf). A student at Iran's Azad University was brutally accosted by the Iranian regime's Sharia-Police (morality police) because her hair was visible. They tore her clothes as they assaulted her. In protest, she took off her clothes and stood in the square as a living monument of resistance. Soon after, she was arrested by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). She actually disappeared.

Asal Mansouri, 30, from Tehran whose gentle heart belonged entirely to the children. She was a psychologist, a therapist, and a fierce advocate for children’s rights. Day after day she worked with the little ones; especially those broken by violence, forced into child labor, or silently carrying the weight of mental wounds, giving them every spare minute and every piece of her own heart. Her friends and colleagues called her “Mom Asal,” because she was so kind, so deeply compassionate, that she always put the children before herself.
