This video shows the scene at Medical College Ernkulam as Raila underwent post-mortem at night. After he collapsed at Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital and Research Centre in Koothattukulam, he was rushed in an ambulance to the nearby Devamatha Hospital where efforts to save his life failed. With his death having been confirmed at the hospital, his body embarked on a 1h 10 minutes journey to Medical College Ernkulam in Kochi where a post-mortem was conducted on his body for three hours. Get a translator, or use Google translator and you will see the words "Government MEDICAL COLLEGE, FORENSIC MEDICINE DEPARTMENT, MORTUARY", boldly written outside the building. Forensic Medicine focuses on determining the cause of death by examining a corpse through autopsy/post-mortem. The Department of Forensic Medicine at Government Medical College, Ernakulam, is described as a key academic and clinical department providing autopsy services and expert medical testimony for legal cases. Witnessing the process was Raila Odinga's personal doctor, Dr Olunya, his bodyguard Ogeta and Peter Muchiri Kenya's High Commissioner to India. Indian policemen stood guard outside the building until the process was completed and the body driven to Kochi Airport for airlifting to Mumbai Airport on an Indian Air Force plane then to Kenya on a KQ plane. As Dr Olunya exits Government Medical College, Ernakulam, after the autopsy you can see him carrying some paperwork, definitely a post-mortem report. ~ Levin odhiambo
