I built a full-stack Chat App to learn React Deeper. When I started, I only know the basics in React. I was hesitant at first if I would be able to do it or not, but I started building it anyways. Through building it, I have learned: - Typescript - Tailwind - Redux - Firebase - File Structuring - Optimization - More hooks The list could go on... The point is you don't need to know it all to start building something. Fundamentals are enough, you can figure out and learn the others on the way. 3D maps in video games are hard to pull off, but I think DK BANANZA has the best one I’ve ever seen. Not only is it super detailed, but If you point the map at something it will zoom directly into the game at the same angle, making it so easy to know which way you are going.

Woke up to severe rain before 5am this morning. Got a flash flood alert about 6:00. What is falling from the sky right now? It’s more than just water. It’s easy to see with the naked eye but trying to capture it on video is not easy. You might think everything is just a rain drop but these small particles aren’t falling like the rain is, more like floating to the ground. If it was winter I might assume it’s snow but it’s not. On this clip everything that looks like a line is rain. Watch the speed it falls and compare it to the small particles that are traveling much slower. Some of the small bits are flying sideways and up. That’s not rain.

Three years ago, I pitched a business to this Particular organization, and they told me they were not seeing the potential I was seeing. Just about an hour ago, I pitched the same business to the same particular organization, and the chairperson said, “Spirit, let’s get to work immediately on this; this is a big one.” What changed three years ago vs. today? ♟️Audience. My Point: There is an audience for everything. It requires wisdom to understand wisdom. The music is nothing if the audience is deaf. So why give up when you can just convince yourself that you are yet to be heard or seen by the right people? What was treated as useless three years ago is the same thing the same organization is saying: “This will put us on the map in the whole of Africa.” I made it possible. You too can. Happy July🥃.

First time doing the Swiss bar bench press in many years. Starting on the lighter side and will be gradually adding more weight over the coming weeks and months. Rebuilding my shoulder and getting it as functional as possible has been one of the greatest challenges I’ve ever faced, but I’ve never stopped. It’s been 10 years, and I continue to get better, stronger, and more capable. I have no regrets. I’ve avoided a shoulder replacement, I’ve avoided surgeries, and most importantly, I’ve refused to give up on myself. To anyone out there who has given up on themselves, I genuinely hope you find the strength to pick yourself back up and keep going. Progress doesn’t always happen quickly, but it does happen for those who refuse to quit. And that’s the last bite. Feed Me More!
