Bellermaine Mugabe and Tobias Mugabe Matonhodze will formally apply for bail on Thursday. Their bail application was meant to be heard today, but because of outstanding matters and issues it’s been moved to Thursday. The two are facing three chargers, attempted murder, defeating the ends of justice & pointing a firearm. A 23-year old believed to be an employee at the Mugabe house was shot and wounded after an alleged altercation. There isn’t clarity on how Mugabe is in the country given his legal status has been questioned. eNCA #Mugabe

A lot of our rescues are urgent, but this sweet little boy was in a league of his own. We found him with a severe neck injury from a piece of string that had been digging into him, but he was so incredibly terrified of humans that he actually escaped down a hole to hide. It took 36 long hours and the help of a kind local boy to finally bring him to safety, but we were never going to leave him behind. Today, that terrible pain has finally been lifted. He is still very nervous, but he is starting to slowly open his heart to our team a little more each day. The bravest little survivor is finally in safe hands.

Today was truly a blessing. Peter Obi heard the voices of the students who stood at the edge of losing their academic future. Many of our leaders remain to stay quiet without providing any help and prefer to input our national wealth on Yatch and luxury cars, while students suffer but Peter Obi always choses compassion over silence and action over excuses. A year ago, after his dramatic, game winning home run in winter ball, Junior Caminero joined the Abriendo Deportes Podcast and shared his desire to play for the Dominican Republic in the WBC. He acknowledged the insane talent the DR would bring, but said he’d still love to be part of it even if it meant just serving as a water boy. To westerners, this video looks like a normal, everyday occurrence in town. But in occupied Iran, this is what civil disobedience looks like: uncovered hair, young people dancing, and western music. All things that are banned by Sharia Law. Don't be fooled by the pro-regime propagandists who will use this video to claim that "Iran is free" and "No need to overthrow the Islamic Republic". Shot on October 9, 2024 in Jabalia refugee camp while covering the war for Al Jazeera, he was clearly marked as press when he was struck in the neck by Israeli fire. The attack left him paralyzed. Colleagues who were calling out to him were killed. Despite a life-threatening spinal injury, his evacuation was delayed for months amid repeated denied transfer requests, until he was finally evacuated on February 10, 2025 to Cairo and then Qatar for treatment. “There is no press freedom… my injury is the proof. Today is Tsukuyo's birthday! She was always cast as the tree in school plays because of how tall she was, and for a long time that felt like something to be ashamed of. But now she can pull off a disguise so convincing that even a careful eye might be fooled. That is what happens when someone takes the advice to start with what they do best and actually follows through. She keeps asking whether someone like her is really okay. The Sensei probably already knows the answer. Today might be a good day to go find her first — though she might take a little while to spot. #BlueArchive

I was at today’s meeting and want to echo Ashley’s post: I was told an interview with CEO Ian Choudri would not be possible *if* it touched at all on the circumstances surrounding his arrest and leave of absence. To be clear, Choudri was not charged, and the board later cleared him to return. But I felt I still had to ask about the situation and whether it served as a distraction for the project. In fairness to the HSR comms team who have been very communicative, an interview with Choudri was offered to me — but limited strictly to the project itself. As a journalist, it is a tough spot to be in. Our coverage will stay focused on the business plan, but I wanted to share this context.

She did not hold the position for long, but during that time she was involved in multiple cringe-worthy scandals and controversial statements. Some of my colleagues in D.C. have been texting me for a while asking what happened to her. The answer is simple: nothing happened to her — she was always like this. Inside Ukraine, she was never taken very seriously. Somehow, though, she managed to build credibility abroad, especially in the U.S., and gained a large following on Twitter. Zelenskyy’s team was very different when he first took office compared to what it is today. But even back then, they quickly realized hiring her was a mistake, and she was let go. The only real difference now may be that she is acting openly as a Russian asset. Or perhaps she is simply trying to use this scandal to gain legal status in the U.S. as someone claiming political persecution.

UPDATES ON ROSCOMMON RACIST CASE. (SYSTEMIC RACISM IN IRELAND) The victim reported to the guards. Sheena was taken to court and just like she said ‘They don’t care about people like Ye’ meaning POCs. On the 17th of June 2025 Irish courts gave Sheena a 200 euro fine despite the hate crime. I can hear the pain in her voice when she was being racially abused and now she has to live knowing she was denied justice. This has been a reality of POCs for a long time in Ireland. I have many cases of similar injustice ie……A young POC girl who was punched on the face while getting off work while on LUAS but no charge was ever made despite the racist being identified. This is UNACCEPTABLE !
