Not sure, but based on weight, it had a solid frame cast from a black hole! 😂

The Mark II version, the ‘Grifter XL’ - extra gear, wider wheel was a great ride …. followed up with another Mk II version of the ‘Bomber’, the 5 gear ‘Bomber 5’ which got me to school super quick than any BMX Burner.

I had a Strika. I could wheelly for ages down the street. Upgraded to a Black Burner later.

Hitting slip gear between blue & yellow as your pedalled your life away shifting thru the gears from 1-3 red, blue n yellow not only did you end up with black n blue bruised balls, but grazed shins when the pedals hit them... I still have the scars to remind me.

The Grifter….weighed a tonne !!

I had a Grifter and later a Boxer.

My Brother got a Grifter brand new for his birthday, years later I was allowed to buy it off him for mine.

I had a Silver Strika. Think from memory, there were 3 colours all in (Green & Black)? The Green one (If I recall correctly) might have had a "pedal back brake"? The Silver certainly had had 2 lever brakes as normal.
