The CWU capitulated with Royal mails financial sob story , once that happened it was game over ... then out of thin air a cheques written to Thompson for 700K , that was it for me I had to get out after 37 yrs along with 40% of my office who also left

Royal mail want to save money with changes to the uso,which usually mean job loses.the ones left will be left with massive work loads if rm get there way with the changes proposed, after the lack of help from the union about later start times, things certainly don't look good.

I haven't any faith in our Union. 3 consecutive years of ay cuts. Un doable rounds. Different grades for new starters. No answers to series questions. And the USO deal will probably be another sell out. How can we have faith in them. We went on strike to be sold out by them.

The union at higher level are at fault

..so why are the walks staying as they are? ie too big and failing on a daily basis?

96% strike ballot and instead of making natural monopoly / USO front and centre of the dispute you hired a Blairite and said there was no alternative and are now somehow suprised at the position you find yourself in.
