🚨 RALPH KLEIN WAS BUILT DIFFERENT! He spoke his mind, stood up for Alberta and never apologized for putting Albertans first. The former premier was an absolute beauty for this province. Who else misses the Klein years? 👇 #RalphKlein #AlbertaPolitics #alberta

I knew Ralph Klein through him frequenting a restaurant a couple times a week that I was a cook at. He would never tell the waitress. Tell the cook thank you. He would tell the waitress get that guy out here. And he would thank me in person. Ralph was Ralph all the time. Whether it was with a lowly cook or whether he was being interviewed on TV. I loved him. The last time I saw him was in his later years when he was ailing with dementia. I met him in a washroom at the Calgary airport. And I said, "Hey Ralph, do you remember the restaurant Whitworth's Inn during your days as mayor, and your favourite cook Mark?" He said, "Yeah, of course I do." But I knew he was lying. He was just being the great guy he always was.

The best mayor and premier Alberta ever had...sure miss King Ralph!!

Straight shooters are hard to find. Danielle did a 180 and is now on the same side as the person ( people) she campaigned against. Kenney, Notley, Nenshi and Carney OToole, Scheer and Polievre are also campaigning against Alberta independence with no hint of a plan other than hope that the constitution can be changed- ….it can’t because the east has the votes.

Me and my hubby keep saying we need to go back to the Klein years life was so good, it was the best time to be alive and well in alberta,God I miss those days

The angry white middle aged men loooove living in the past.

Like you remember what he was like as premier. That was 20 years ago

All hail king Ralph

You’re just a simple peddler. I knew Ralph, he had a serious alcohol problem and was just a puppet and used by “his people”, you sadly have no idea.

Wonder which is better - a drunk premier or a fascist, corrupt premier?

He was a drunk, like you.

Definitely….@ABDanielleSmith you are not like Ralph….he would not have bent the knee to Ottawa

Very clever slogan man, how did you come up with that?

I wasn't living here when he was in power. The more clips I see of him the more I see what is missing in today's politics in general. Gut wrenching honesty. He would have already been calling out the mass immigration fiasco and stopping it from entering Alberta. @ABDanielleSmith

I do. I miss Ralph. Enjoying a beer at King Edys watching the horse races.

Loved him as Mayor of Calgary, and the Premier of AB.

I miss Ralph

My giess is you miss all the former conservative premiers in Alberta. They all, including Klein, drained the Heritage Fund that Lougheed set up. Billions upon billions of dollars.

Keep his name out of your goddam mouth. He would be disgusted to see what conservatives became in this province.

Yes gutting public services to point that it still hasnt recoverd from was amazing while cleaning out the poorly managed heritage fund

Definitely but he a few things that pissed me off to... But mostly yes.. 90% awesome

He basically blew up the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund (AHSTF). Instead of growing it, he pissed it away.

RIP King Ralph

Loved King Ralph. There will never be another.

He was the best!

He is one of the reasons I moved here.

Simply the best. 👍👍

Glad you posted Ralph. He was a stout Canadain not a separatist

He would stand against con man. He was the best we ever had. Miss him everyday. He would be so sad to see what happened to our beautiful Province.

Best Govenor Los Angeles ever had.

That guy was fucking awesome

Klein was a drunken lout. He missed giving speeches because he was too drunk to go on stage. I know because I wouldn't let him onstage, didn't feel it was safe or proper.

A controlled gambling drunk, saw him many times.

Ralph was a Liberal before he switched parties 🤷♀️
