"Never asked for a Porsche" Rosie clarifies allegations over luxury vehicles Addressing the controversy over the Porsche Cayenne SUV linked to her name, former Colombo Mayoress Rosie Senanayake on Wednesday claimed the vehicle had been given to her by the Director – Transport at the Presidential Secretariat, and was not one that she had requested. A list surfaced on social media this week, with names of Members of Parliament, Advisors to the President and others, who had received vehicles from the Presidential Secretariat, during Ranil Wickeremesinghe’s Presidency, including luxury vehicles. Senanayake also said that the vehicle was in a dilapidated state when she received, and on several occasions had to seek alternative forms of transport after it broke down. Commissioner Khumalo is a genius. Johnson was throwing Padayachee uder the bus, where he claimed that he never saw the Section 27 document that contains the referral with complaints and allegations. She says, the team made up of Investigators, is given all documents to refer to when they meet to decide the way forward for the investigation. She was therefore surprised when he said during his testimony that he never saw it. So, she was watching of course, sick and hospitalized as she was) 🙄 Anyway, asikho lapho. 😅 On the other hand, she also tries to protect him and Perumal by saying Perumal said, when she asked him, that the document was with the Prosecutor, they did not have it.
