Some simple budget math: Give out $4 trillion in tax cuts and cut spending by $1 trillion, and you'll get a $3 trillion increase in the national debt. Denying these realities doesn't change them (and yes, the bond market has noticed).

"The answer is that they can't do it in the reconciliation package because it's discretionary spending." We can't let the GOP drag their feet on this. It starts on Monday when the first cuts are sent from the White House to Congress. DOGE cuts MUST be codified!
