HoJo as a Cub, things I don't remember.

That’s a “break-up a double-play slide” where the middle infielder could likely avoid injury by by moving to the inside or outside of the base path or getting vertical. But not acceptable, in the mind of this ( and obviously Dunston) shortstop for a straight steal.

As Harry might have called it: And now “HoJo Johnson” enters the fracas!

How Bates didn’t throw an immediate haymaker to Dunston’s jaw I’ll never know.
