Don’t let the “Get to do” crowd make you think that doing things you have to or need to isn’t where you’re supposed to be. We don’t have all have glamorous jobs or our dream jobs. Normally those are the jobs that people say they “Get to” do. Nothing is wrong with grinding to the bone until you’re you’re own boss or working from the bottom aiming for the time. Shoot, sometimes it’s about making sure everyone in your house is fed, cared for and clothed. Doing what has to be done is a necessity. It doesn’t make you a failure. It makes you a survivor. Let’s go to work.

You need to have a good education system, and I believe that 👉 Education should not be extremely expensive. 👉 Education should not be fully privatised. There can be private schools and colleges, but there is a role for good-quality government education, and for that, the government has to put money into the budget for education. So that’s the first thing. The second thing is that you have to create an atmosphere where jobs are being generated - not just jobs in the service industry and the IT industry, but also jobs in manufacturing and small and medium industries - so that they can help in the development of the country and young boys and girls can get jobs here. Then, when they fall behind, they are told it is because of racism or the patriarchy. Why is it that we celebrate athletes for being competitive, talking trash, chasing greatness, going at their rivals, but when Kendrick shows that same hunger in rap, it’s suddenly a problem? You get one chance to make your mark in this world. One shot to prove you’re the best at what you do. So why is it cool for a baller to have that “kill or be killed” mindset, but not a rapper?
