Locals and offline play sweep!!! But low-key arenas are better than elite since i can at least have the luxury of practicing on all the legal stages not just omega and battlefield the whole time

I would disagree on elite smash and wifi tournaments. All kinds of shitty wifi shenanigans. If you wanna practice on WiFi, find servers with better players and just play friendlies with as many mods as you can to reduce lag. Otherwise WiFi will just lead to a faux experience.

I personally would never put Elite Smash in S tier as the grind to get to into it a way too toxic. You'd be better off just sticking to the smash discords or the new smash ladder.
