Let me spell it out for you: The Trudeau Liberals imposed a 100% tariff on Chinese-made EVs. Not to protect Canadian automakers (because there basically aren’t any), but to make Chinese EVs too expensive for the market. That way, Canadians are forced to buy overpriced, taxpayer-subsidized EVs from the Liberal-backed foreign companies they’ve handed billions to—Volkswagen, Stellantis, and Northvolt. Oh, but Northvolt just went BANKRUPT in Sweden. That’s right—the company Trudeau and his gang are pouring your money into has already collapsed in its home country. This will allow us to legally raise money and spend it on campaigning — for example, on criticizing Mark Carney and his candidates. We've done this before, including the last general election. You're only allowed to do that if you register with Elections Canada. We have. Carney is counting on winning all three of these by-elections to cement the majority government that he built undemocratically by bribing conservative MPs to cross the floor. The reality is that he doesn't care about elections. He'll get rid of his opponents behind closed doors with secret deals. For example, one of the upcoming by-elections is in Quebec, where Carney bribed a Conservative MP with an appointment to the Senate. That MP left, and now Carney wants to flip that blue seat red. The same thing happened to trigger the North Vancouver by-election; Carney appointed the old MP to be an ambassador. The Toronto area by-election is taking place in Beaches-East York, a riding the Liberals have long taken for granted. I want to do something about that, don't you? This is real 4 trillion. It's not replaceable. The chips that drive our phones, our F-35s, our F-150 trucks, our TVs, our refrigerators, anything we're building in the United States, it's got Taiwanese chips in it. They're 95% of the high-end chips, 70% to 75% of the legacy chips come from Taiwan. There's not a replacement for it. It is indispensable to the United States.
