This isn't designed for lazy customers. This is design by committee when you are out of original ideas and you just start adding random nonsense to a product no one asked for and call it a new feature. This is lazy engineering.

I guess the theory is you press it, go and grab the cable, then it's open and ready. And when done, it's closing while you put the cable back. A solution to a not-a-problem and completely unnecessary. Btw, I'm continuing to find your balanced EV views refreshing 👍

#5 You can't steal any cars and you can only enter from the left side of the car There's only one animation to enter the car and that's from the left side, during some in-game missions you aren't even allowed to get out of the car and explore the open world like this one here, I tried getting out of the car to walk on foot but the game didn't allow me to. This is because the Open World of MindsEye is extremely restricted, the Game doesn't want you do explore so it either forces you to move from point A to point B with a timer and most of the times it asks you to enter a car and you can't get out of it once you're inside the vehicle.

I don’t have my action cam rigged up right now because I’m with people, but had to pull this and share it. FSD V14.2 will literally drive you off of a completely unmapped construction site using cameras and neural nets. Understand that this is a big grey block of nothing on the map and the car did not have any routing path on the GPS until we made it out to the road at the end. Do you understand the difference yet? Are you getting it? Tesla already ships robots to consumers.

Shahid Kapoor forgot to unlock his car in a hurry and directly tried to open the door, which is why it didn’t open. Then when he tried to unlock it with the remote, he accidentally pressed the lock button twice instead of unlock. All of this got recorded on camera. I don’t get why anyone would park that close, is this personal, or was the driver just in a hurry. He rolls up to different car washes, takes his business card and puts one in the credit card slot of the ATMs. What this does: It forces people to have to remove the card in order to buy something from the vending machines. Brilliant. When you find the right machine with the right audience, the right time, it can be magic. And that's why I love marketing.

A common thing I hear when speaking with gas car owners is that the idea of owning a Tesla is too complicated and not worth the trouble. They often cite not knowing where chargers are, and not wanting to deal with the headache of figuring it out. They also believe there aren’t enough chargers to satisfy their travel needs. This is a myth, and the opposite of true for almost everyone. The truth is that Tesla ownership is actually easier than gas car ownership for travel, and in general. There is far less thinking involved. Tesla’s technology is leveraged to make transportation difficulty fade into the background. Literally all you have to do is get in, tell it where to go, and press a button. Quite literally don’t even have to drive, let alone think about where chargers are. Here I am outside of Philadelphia randomly at 50% battery, asking the car to take me to Myrtle Beach down in South Carolina. After this clip, all you have to do is sit there, listen to podcast/music, eat snacks, and take in scenery. Pretty soon you’ll be able to watch movies and TV too. That’s it, that’s the entire travel “planning” process. You don’t have to do it, the software does it. And after your first road trip using FSD 14.2 instead of driving yourself, the energy you will have at your destination will be impossible to ignore. You will realize the luxury of self driving far exceeds the extra 45-60 mins of charging required along a long route like this. You will realize the trip psychologically felt way quicker, because you didn’t have to be tensed up and locked in the entire time. It’s game changing. This is why Tesla is a leader in customer retention. Once you take the plunge, you realize the truth is opposite what you thought before going for it, and you can’t imagine going back.

Or is it to do away with their desire to bomb people?…We should have a better understanding about what is left in an arsenal against not only the United States and our assets there, but also Israel and other friends that we have in the gulf. So this is an equation that they are going to have to put their heads together and make that determination.”

This is Siemens SGT 400 gas turbine. It can produce up to 12mw of power. Power that is essential to live - a human right basically. Look at it. It costs several million dollars. This is the tax developing world pays to Germany. What is in this thing that it can't be manufactured locally ? Ask yourself. Why is it so hard to replicate ? Is it always going to be like this ? We are in 2020s now. How about 2030 ? Do you think this will be manufactured locally in 2030 ? I don't think so. Software Tech is easily replicable due to the culture of open source. Manufacturing has no culture of open source. For right or wrong reasons. So even after 100 years of inventing this, most of of the world is still trying to figure out how to replicate this. And I think it will take 100 more years at this pace. Also, 2 decades of our smartest building ad software has resulted in this tech not moving forward. Everything in core hard tech is imported - turbines, machinery, electronics - you name it. So young smart people seeing this - please go and design this and make this cheaper. It's not just about India. The entire developing world needs this cheaply.

Imagine leaving the dealer after picking up your new car, your are amazed and distracted at the features of the car and how comfortable it is. All of a sudden you feel a spine jarring impact and hear multiple parts of the car crunching, the wheel is now wobbling and making noises. Before you know it, you realize you had just hit a massive pothole. Is it a sign that this car wasn’t meant for you or is it time to take it to the city and demand they repair it?

This woman was grocery shopping, she finished up and packed up her groceries. She pushed the start button to start the motor only for it not to work, after a moment she realizes why it won’t start. This isn’t her car, now she had to stand and wait by the car to explain to the owner why her groceries are in the car and hope she can get the back. If you came back to your car and it was already loaded with groceries, would you give it back or do you think it would have been a scam?
