Well said. What's funny is that it seems the bedroom or low to mid tier guitarists are the ones that are a-holes regarding criticism of other players. The best of the best are typically the ones that are humble and cool and appreciate/respect those at all levels.

🎯Agree... I remember 1979 through the mid 80's VERY well, as I was heavily getting into guitar. And back then it was Al Dimeola, Joe Satriani, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, to name a few...And if I got caught playing a little EVH or KISS, or Journey or Boston, you were almost cast out!!! I loved Eddie and the rest of them, and play along with all of them, all the time. However, my personal opinion is @chickenfootjoe was and still is on another level, Period! Definitely embarrassing for the guitar community not appreciating the difference between writing/creating something and SIMPLY copying it💪🎸

Well said! Ill never understand the egos in the guitar world. I play the instrument because it allows me to be creative and I like listening to others and respect everyone who shares the joy of playing music in general. For any aspect of music. Think about these guys and how much better they would be if they werent trying so hard to be someone else. What a waste of time.

You've got to know that: 1 - The general question of "what is Eddie's hardest lick" morphed into Joe's impromptu segment, 2 - Joe will absolutely woodshed that intro to pieces and master it before the tour kicks off.
