And while most associate the group with the brilliance of Raphael Saadiq (D’Waynes brother), I was always drawn to those moments when Wiggins would lend his vocals to a recording. Records like ‘Holy Smokes & Gee Wiz’, ‘Slow Wine’, ‘Til Last Summer’, and ‘Wild Child’. But I would argue that the record that best displayed the essence of his fingerprints on the group’s sound was ‘Whatever You Want’. That particular song has his vocals, signature guitar playing, song writing, and distinct groove all in one recording.
