The breakdown, which occurred at one of the busiest stations along the line, has forced Rapid KL to implement crowd control measures at several affected stations as repair crews work to resolve the issue. Newly released video shows the moment a Frontier Airlines plane struck a person on a runway as it was taking off from Denver International Airport. The airport said that the person was killed in the collision. The person, who has not been identified, jumped the airport's perimeter fence and was hit two minutes later while crossing the runway, the airport said. Smoke was reported in the cabin after the collision and passengers were evacuated using slides. The airport said 12 people reported minor injuries, and five of those were transported to local hospitals.

BLUNDER! Two local trains on the same track on Central Railway at #Mumbai CSMT. A Central Railway spokesperson confirmed the incident and said they are investigating the matter. A train coming from Badlapur was taken on PF 5 instead of PF 4 which was occupied by another local. The local trains have been backed and now movement is restarting. The PF 5 to 8 were blocked and movement was stopped from 3.18pm Now the backing is complete and the movement is starting. There was a signal between these two local trains. CSMT Internal Home for Suburban Platforms was in red condition hence the Motorman stopped the train. Also the distance between the two trains was more than 130 meters.

[ONE KILLED AND ANOTHER INJURED BY A MOB IN A STOCKTHEFT RELATED INCIDENT] Police at Verena are investigating a stock theft related incident whereby two male persons were reportedly cornered and assaulted by an unidentified group of people after being reportedly found with livestock believed to have been stolen. One of the alleged suspects died whilst the other one sustained some injuries. The incident occurred in Verena on Wednesday, 24 December 2024. According to a report, Police as well Medical Emergency Services were called to the scene, and it was during this period when one of the men was pronounced dead, while the other was taken to the hospital for treatment. He is currently hospitalized under Police guard. The incident is believed to be linked to stocktheft incident, where 26 cattle, six goats, and a donkey were reportedly stolen from a certain farm in Verena. The Police investigation indicates that a shepherd was attacked earlier that day then robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash. Thereafter, the suspects are believed to have fled the scene in two bakkies with trailers when their vehicles got stuck in the mud, leading to their capture and attack by the mob. Two bakkies were also torched during the incident.

Police say emergency services were called to reports a plane had lost control while conducting a demonstration and crashed into the tarmac about 5:15pm on Friday. A Victoria Police spokesperson said the crash happened a significant distance from spectators and there were no other people injured. The plane is believed to have been a part of the Paul Bennett Aerobatics team that crashed during the first public day of the event. The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) said it had been notified of the incident and would be investigating.
