First ever: To ensure the provision of clean drinking water to the people of South Punjab, a comprehensive project is being implemented at an unprecedented pace. When I saw this post from this Obidiot Chijioke, I knew this is not true. So I reached out to a friend, who is one of the engineers working on this project & he denied it outrightly. According to him, the project has been sectionalised, and it has never stopped since it started. As seen in the videos below, Section2,3,4 and 5 are at 90% completion, while sections 1, 6, 7, 8, & 9 are ongoing, also almost 60% completed. Bury your empty head filled with alcohol and fake soft drinks in shame.

Over the past few months, the Federal Ministry of Education has held several meetings with members of the National Library team and its contractors to discuss the resumption of the project. The project, which was designed in 1981 and began construction in 2006, is the third (3rd) of three national monuments (the National Ecumenical Centre and the National Mosque) that has yet to be completed. This week, my team and I toured the project site with the CEO of the National Library, the project’s architect, and contractor to assess the progress made before construction paused in 2012. By June 2025, we will proceed with Phase 1 of the project, which will include the completion of Basement Levels 1 and 2, the Ground Floor, the Second Floor, and the building's external works and furnishings. Mr. President is deeply passionate about Nigeria’s human capital development, of which education is an integral part. The President has also instructed TETFund to allocate funding towards the project to ensure its resumption and completion. With a National Library, we can provide all Nigerians with a communal learning environment to help them grow and become their best selves.
