Raspberry Pi gets a comeback as the Star Trek communicator with OpenClaw! Raspberry Pi was popular in the 2010s and now faces a comeback as the personification of OpenClaw in a Tamagotchi shape - it listens, it thinks and it even talks! And it is not even that expensive!... Sebastian Volkl created his Raspberry Pi project with just $100. Do you want your own OpenClaw Tamagotchi? #tamagotchi #openclaw #raspberrypi #ai #tech Sebastian Völklshow more

Raspberry Pi + OpenClaw = pure maker magic. $100 for a smart gadget? This is why I love DIY tech.

The real question is whether it can actually handle continuous conversation without retraining, or if it's just clever prompt chaining like everything else shipping right now.

pi is genuinely underrated for this. always-on, quiet, cheap to run. the constraint forces you to keep the agent lean too which is actually a good thing

@basti_vkl Can I get this?

An update on NexxusOS:

Are we related? No lobsters here, but we spawn crayfish, and cook 24/7

@basti_vkl Too cool. Gotta try this

Works great!

$100 for an AI that listens, thinks, and talks. My $400 smart speaker still can't manage two of those. The 2010s Pi nostalgia is strong, but this time it's actually useful.
