Ratatouille (2007)

Ratatouille had no business going this hard That chef chase had me fighting for my life as a kid. The game was way more challenging than anyone remembers.

More player interaction on this than the new wolverine “press foward too see shit happening” gameplay

How big is that damn kitchen

Little Nightmares was inspired by this

that might be the only plausible bossfight i have ever seen

I used to stay getting caught on this when I was a kid. 😭😭😭

I'm impressed with how much the head chef is reacting to the environment in his way. Modern games wouldve been a straight line with obstacles that the enemy would flick by just approaching

This is so Crash Bandicoot inspired, that's awesome. We desperately need more games like this

This goes far harder than it should

Literally the opening sequence to the Darth Vader level from Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

One of the greatest movie tie-in games of all time

You suggest game mechanics or levels this creative in 2026 and they take you out back and shoot you.

Dude what the fuck are you playing

Man that kitchen is big

I can't recall if I ever played this one (Pixar movie games were definitely in my collection as a kid though), but this looks genuinely fun. Even a little tense, ngl. Like, think about it: that's an INSANE amount of animation and unique set pieces just for one chase sequence.

Still one of the greatest movies Pixar ever cooked up

Why don’t video games based on movies use tunes from the movie themselves anymore?

It reminds me with pepsi man

I played the hell out of this game when I was a kid. Probably one of the best movie adaptation games of that era and heavy iron certainly did not miss

I miss PS2 era chase segments.

i was gonna say this has more soul than modern games ironically but as i continued watching i realized a modern game wouldve just had him stay in place so it ironically does have more soul than modern games

Why does the camera have to be pointed backwards like that? It reminds me of The Warrior

Vote for backward compatibility here:

I only had the PS2 version since I was never gifted a PS3, but I wanted the PS3 version so bad... Then I emulated the PS3 version as an adult, witnessed first hand how janky the controls are, saw the lazy animation for the chase scenes, and realized the PS2 version is superior.

what kind of crack were the 2000s gaming industry on

Damn, so this is where Uncharted 2 got all it’s rizz

This game inspire Little Nightmares? 😅

OMFG I USED TO LOVE THIS WHEN I WAS YOUNGER

2007 movie slop video game far more impressive than Wolverine 2026 on technical level

little nightmares be like
