Rather than aligning layers on the points, I noticed that placing them between the points actually gives a neat way to control horizontal constraints in After Effects. 🤯

Honestly, nothing fancy here! I just used the position values of the points (with points() ) to place the layers halfway between them. Then used length() to calculate the distance between the two points, which gives the final size of each layer. That's it.

Haha! Take a look at this tutorial ( That’s the version where I align the layers directly on the points. In this new one I’m placing them between the points instead.
