Five observations from Day 1 of #Bengals camp: 1. Dexter Lawrence to Joe Burrow at the start of practice: “I wanna see it today Mr. Burrow.” Joe’s response: “You can see it every day brother” I asked Dexter about that exchange after practice. “Somebody has to challenge the King of the Jungle as they say,” said Lawrence. “Somebody has to keep him on edge in order for him to get better and grow. That competitive spirit won’t stop. And with a guy like that, I know he’s going to bring it. It’s going to be fun.”

DJ Turner shined with sticky coverage on back-to-back snaps. “I will single-handedly get DJ Turner national attention — I swear to God I will,” said ESPN analyst Ben Solak. “Every time I’ve turned on Bengals’ defensive film the last couple of years, you just see a guy who moves like the top corners move and who can see the ball the way the top corners can.”

After two strenuous days, the third practice was more of a walk-through as a precaution. “We’ve lost a lot of guys on the third day over the last couple of years and that’s every team,” said Zac Taylor. “Sometimes you can do everything you can possibly think of on that third day to limit it and you’re still going to have issues.”

The Ravens' Head Coach, Jesse Minter, used a 3-Safety structure on long-yardage passing downs during his tenure with the Chargers. That scheme was present in Week 1 vs. the Colts. With three Safeties starting from depth, the secondary can spin into multiple looks. Along with a coverage rotation, Baltimore is blitzing the CB, creating a five-man pressure. The goal of the pressure is to get newly acquired DE Trey Hendrickson (91) free in the QB's face. Paired with Anthony Weaver, the Ravens defense should be a fun watch in '26. “That was fun, but not as fun as tackling people.” Preston Lobliner had these words of wisdom after his first day of kicking camp with James Wilhoit. Without any training, he was the only kid in his league last year who could kick extra points, and that was HUGE since they are worth 2 points since nobody does it. With Middle School Football upon us, we are excited to see him contribute to his team as an accurate and powerful kicker and an all out DAWG on offense and defense. This was 30 yards, and after this camp and learning how to actually kick, I expect to hit 40+ by the time the season hits. Also the best news ever for us, he is starting back in wrestling next week daily after injuring his elbow at practice the day after winning state so we will start working on that 3rd state championship! SUPER PROUD of this kid!

One of the symbols of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the German Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz will be a freight train car, which will be placed directly in front of the main gate of Auschwitz II-Birkenau camp. Since 2009, this train car has stood in the middle of the unloading ramp at the former Birkenau camp, at the site where SS doctors conducted selections of deported Jews, directing most of them to their deaths in the gas chambers. This train car originated from Germany. Between 1919-25, over 120,000 wagons of this type were manufactured. Many of them were used to deport people to Auschwitz, as confirmed by documents and archival photographs. The train car is dedicated to the memory of about 420,000 Jews from Hungary who were deported to Auschwitz from May to July 1944. Its conservation was made possible thanks to financial support from Frank Lowy, whose father, Hugo, was killed in the camp.
