I can’t really put into words how fkn awesome this movie was in 2008. Me and my dad just loved it.

Downey was perfect casting for Stark at the perfect time. He needed a hit and Marvel needed a hit that wouldn't break the bank. Favreau as director was inspired, too. A nearly perfect movie. I still like The First Avenger more, but this one is a classic. Should have kept Howard as War Machine and introduced Cheadle as The Falcon. Could've had 2 great, black, superheroes. And their personalities and acting styles would have worked well on both characters. Missed opportunity. That said, this movie is top 5 for Marvel in my opinion.🍻

Terrance Howard was great as Rhodey, too bad they didn’t keep him in the role, Cheadle just was almost as bad as Maggie Gyllenhaal being cast as Rachel in the Dark Knight
