how it differs from what is already used in react navigation?

It uses native components to render bottom tabs. All of the bottom tabs implementations available today for React Navigation use JS based tabs which means they try to recreate the native UI as closely as possible.

another thing i notice, not sure if its because of your video editor, but when you change between tabs there is a slight fade in animation, is it part of it or is just a video thing going on?
