Dolly Parton didn't write "I Will Always Love You" for Whitney Houston. She wrote it for herself and recorded it in 1973. Whitney Houston was 10 at the time. Dolly also sang it in "The Best Little Whore House" film in 1982.

Now he needs to see the movie!🤣

If only he saw the movie where Dolly sings “I will always love you” 😂😂😂

Hearing Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” for the first time is like discovering pure gold — catchy, fun, and packed with so much heart and grit! 🎶💼 Instant classic vibes! Who else can’t stop humming it? 🙌

I want to see his reaction to Jolene… He’ll freak.

I love that song... Dolly has a lot of good songs...

Great movie too!

Funny how you’re praising Dolly Parton while pushing anti-immigrant rhetoric. She’s spent her life standing up for all people: poor, Black, queer, immigrant, or otherwise. Dolly Parton didn’t build her legacy by punching down, she built it by lifting everyone up. You don’t get to stand her while spewing anti-immigrant nonsense. know your artist . dumbass

Did you know… When she sang the song to Jane Fonda & Lilly Tomlin, she played the music with her finger nails.

I’m getting old( beats the alternative). There are actually people alive who have never heard of Dolly Pardon?!
