PBD, first and foremost, I respect and admire you. However, this is one of the few topics i disagree on. Foreign aid needs to be stopped and Israel is the biggest receiver since its creation in 1948. I'd be happy to have a respectful discussion on this but here's the cliffs on why we need to stop aid to Israel: -Israel killed American serviceman (USS Liberty) -Israeli lobbies failed to register under FARA while brazenly influencing American politics for Israeli interests. Now we have AIPAC which CONTROLS American foreign policy. -Fail to adhere to nuclear inspections (which they stole from the US btw and verified by declassified FBI and CIA documents). -Suspected involvement to JFK and RFKs deaths... -Spied on us (Jonathan Pollard) -Sold US technology to our adversaries America isn't perfect but Israel has betrayed us and does not deserve to receive the amount of and length of time we gave them aid.

Respectfully... The pushback you are receiving is in downplaying the aid to Israel. I'd like to lower the temp, too. You don't do so by funding them with zero controls. Your position here amounts to a strawman of the America First position. I'm certainly not arguing that you should be supportive of Iran or Hamas or Russia, for that matter. The argument is, and continues to be, that regardless of which foreign gov you prefer NONE of them are America and none of them should receive a penny of my money.
