This is incredibly disingenuous, this tradition predates the Nazis. In fact, Mensur scars where prohibited by the Nazis. This is who they give pulitzers to huh

everyone fought everyone else my dad was european champion for Germany for duelling and has a schmisse , im not sure you know that all other european countries also did the same its called Academic Fencing.

This isn’t correct. Duelling was seen as an upper class pursuit in the 19th century Germany. The scars were seen as a badge of honour, a sign of courage and membership of the aristocracy.

@Petrus24550953 Nonsense. The somewhat peculiar tradition of Mensur duels predates the Nazis. (Mark Twain had quite a lot to say about it.)
