A childless life is one of the saddest lives a person can live. It’s sad bc you miss out on one of the greatest forms of happiness a human can ever experience. This is the kind of joy that doesn’t come from $, status, or freedom. Rather, this pure joy comes from loving someone more than yourself. And also there’s a deeper thing of not having kids. Your story, your values, your genetics, all the things that make you unique, don’t get carried forward. Having kids is a bet on the future. It’s like saying, I think tomorrow is worth investing in. But when you choose not to, you’re opting out of the future you could’ve helped shape. This is the kind of happiness, which imo is the highest level of happiness a human can feel, that only exists when you have kids. Being human is awesome. Make more beautiful humans. Have kids. You will never feel ready, and I promise, you won’t regret it.

My advice to you, would be to find your nearest conspiracy theorist and have a discussion, or two, or three, depending on what you can actually handle because, it is DEEP, DARK and VERY SICK. A grizzly bear family was spotted casually walking down a road in Alberta like they owned every inch of it - and after that video circulating of the woman and her dog coming face to face with a grizzly, maybe this explains everything. Maybe they were out looking for him because he wandered too far from the family 😂 One thing is for sure, that woman with the dog is thanking God this whole crew was not there for that encounter because one grizzly was already more than enough to handle. Are you calm in these situations? Nature is beautiful until it’s standing right in front of you.

Dad’s home! 🏠 Because it’s one of the most frequent questions I receive, here’s your periodic reminder that your baby doesn’t forget you when you go to work. There’s a developmental milestone known as object permanence and sometimes parents overthink it. In a nutshell it’s the understanding that things continue to exist even when they’re out of sight - and it typically develops somewhere between 6-9 months. Does that mean you cease to exist (to your baby) when you go to work or the grocery store? It can be kind of a scary thought to new parents. The answer, even before the development of object permanence, is no. But it may mean that (even for your toddler) you’re misattributing adult forms of memory to your little one. Infants and toddlers both live very much in the moment and are still developing the type of robust narrative memory we possess as adults. So while you’re gone, it’s not that you cease to exist. It’s more a case of “out of sight, out of mind.” Will they recognize you when you return? Will they be excited to see you? I’ll let this beautiful video from beingritty on IG show you the answer.

Some videos don’t just make you uncomfortable. They make you stop and ask what kind of society we’ve become. I watched this and felt a deep sadness settle in my chest. Not anger first. Not political rage. Just grief. Grief for the little ones who never get the chance to take a breath, and grief for the women who are being told this is empowerment when it looks a whole lot more like something darker. Scripture doesn’t dance around the value of life. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” “Children are a heritage from the Lord.” “You shall not murder.” We’ve reached a place where some celebrate the decision to end a life that is already fully formed, already capable of feeling pain, already made in the image of God… and they smile while they do it. That should never feel normal. It should never feel progressive. It should never feel like freedom. Real freedom is the courage to protect the weakest among us. Real strength is the woman who chooses life even when it’s hard. Real progress is a culture that refuses to sacrifice its children on the altar of convenience. I’m not here to shame anyone who’s already walked through this pain. God’s mercy is bigger than our worst decisions. But I am here to say out loud what too many are afraid to say: This is not healthcare. This is not compassion. This is not the America our grandparents fought to protect. Vote for life. Pray for life. Speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. Because if we stay silent while the most innocent are discarded, we will answer for it.
