⚔️Introducing Gladiators: Ultima⚔️ A Survivors game that integrates Web3 elements such as your NFT traits to impact your playstyle. Each trait from your own minted NFT will give your character in-game buffs that will make your gameplay experience unique. 🛡️Traits: - Helmet: Depending on what helmet trait you have, you can gain up to 25 bonus HP. - Hands: Gives your character a % Cooldown reduction on your abilities, meaning the cast sooner. - Weapon: Depending on your trait you can receive a flat bonus # of increased damage on your attacks, or a % bonus. - Miscellaneous: Movement speed increase, XP % gain, ability rerolls, etc. And more... ⚔️Abilities: - Sword: Slash all enemies nearest to you. - Mace: Spin a mace around you, hitting all enemies in its path. - Fire flask: Throw a flask that explodes and leaves a patch of flame on the ground, applying burn. - Arrow rain: Arrows periodically strike your enemies randomly. Hard to believe that Grand Prix 2 will turn 30 years old this year. What Geoff Crammond created back then feels nothing short of a masterpiece. His earlier works were Revs, The Sentinel, and Stunt Car Racer, so from his track record you could see “genius” written all over him. With Grand Prix 2 he took it to the next level. Never before had a racing game featured such realistic physics. The gear system, brakes, suspension, front and rear wings - everything could be adjusted and fine-tuned, including telemetry tools to analyse and refine changes. None of this existed in any racing game before, not even close. Crammond invested three years in what was essentially a solo project, with little outside help. When it was published in 1996, it flew off the shelves, with sales ultimately reaching around 1 million and ratings in the high 90% range across the board. Imagine the patience and self-belief required to lock yourself away for three years without knowing if the game would be a hit or just another forgotten, below-average title.
