Can of corn outs. Show me hitting the back of the net. That’s impressive.

What you're saying in this video goes against what is happening on the field. The things you're speaking of are measured, and can be tracked. Juan Soto swings in-to-out 14 degrees relative to his stance. Freedie Freeman swings perfectly square relative to his stance. Freddie hits way more line drives than Soto. I have a ton of other examples. In summary, players that spend more time in LASS (Launch Angle Sweet Spot, defined as balls hit between 5-20 degrees) are making contact with the bat facing up the middle or pull side...and hitting line drives with less spin. Backspin line drives float to the fielders are outs. I hope you don't take this personal. I just feel that it's important for players and coaches to know the facts.

Are you saying you want backspin on line drives/non-home runs? If so, what data set are you working from? Can you share?

I’m with you 100%. I want backspun balls as much as possible as those are most conducive to run production. In the video I don’t really state anything to hand path its more focus on body position and where we are turning. (anti open and up) I’m all in on hand path and direction being in to out.

Luv the flat bat path, line drives, stride foot grounded and not spinning out w/ head on the contact point. Hoping the front knee is locking to stay centered, but my only minor criticism is he may be falling into his stide which can make adjustments difficult. Dig him tho 🤙🤙
