My 101st Airborne Dad was one of them in the first wave

When I served in the 82nd AIRBORNE, these were the men who set the example for us.

McNasty - The man's actual nickname. Complete badass

They jumped in the darkness, knowing that they would be surrounded by vastly superior (numbers) enemy forces and wouldn't be relieved for a day or two . . if ever! Americans saved ALL of Europe!

That’s why my blood boils when fools disrespect our flag, kneel during the National Anthem! Let alone someone burning our flag! God bless America!

@SoldiersWhisper Look at all that white privilege - facing near certain death to save the world from totalitarianism………….. God Bless the Greats who answer the call…….

Wonder what they would think of America today….

@SoldiersWhisper Proud to say my son wears the "screaming eagle" combat patch.

Absolute Alpha males and truly the greatest generation.

I went to Normandy two summers ago for the 80th anniversary... I felt goosebumps seeing the beaches and surrounding town. The people there ALL fly American, Canadian, and British flags in their front yards. Young Americans should go.

My plans this weekend. Watch "The Longest Day" enjoy my grandson's t-ball game, and rewatch "Band of Brothers". ( The best TV miniseries ever )

Jake McNiece who initiated the idea of this hairstyle personally autographed his book for me.

Legends, so many British made the jump too, heroes

The Filthy Thirteen. The face paint was Jake "Nasty" Mcniece's idea. Inspired by his Choctaw heritage.

I proudly can say my Grandpa was there, jumped, and did his duty. Thank you to all who did too! 🇺🇸👊🏻

Mohawks = Savage Alpha Males.

Jake "Mcnasty" McNeese

@RedNeckPapa6291 Where are those kind of men now?

Those dirty fuckers. We should call them something cool like the dirty dozen…

101st at RAF Upottery, next to Dunkerswell, Somerset.

The Dirty Dozen

@Fat_Electrician did a video on those very men in the video - The Filthy 13, specifically Jake "McNasty" McNiece.

When I hear this song, it is always a gut punch.

#Respect These Warriors were / are BadAss individuals

The Mohawks may have been the Filthy 13. The Dirty Dozen movie borrowed lightly.

our Grandpa's were kick ass!

Poor guys , they would turn in their graves if they could see Europe today👎

I have always wondered how many men in these films survived the war ……

🙏🙏🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🫡

Merci d'avoir libéré la France les héros 🫡🇫🇷

@MarkD0471836565 Greatest generation of our times! Heroes.

But : Nobody rich the fighting record of them👇. They were the ultima - ratio. Netherland, Belgium, Norway, CRETE! , Africa, Tunesia, Russia, Italy, Yugislavia, etc. etc.
