MY DRILL IS THE DRILL THAT WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENS!!

Kamina taught us that our drill will pierce the heavens

PEAK DETECTED

Crazy how much the anime version mogs the movie version

YA KNOW IT 👀👀

Got to pierce the heavens

Going from Kamina saying "Your drill is the drill that'll pierce the heavens!" in the beginning of the show all the way up until the end when Simon declares "My drill is the drill that *creates* the heavens!" Fucking incredible storytelling

Nah sorry but the anime did better

Super based for using the movie version of this scene

THIS IS MY HOPIUM

THEY DUBBED THE MOVIE!? WHEN!?

I wish we could get the movie with anime voice acting vro

Seriously, the final act in gurren lagann feels like a spiritual experience.

Its so good It makes sense Trigger is unable to move on from Gurren lagann

"THATS HOW A DRILL WORKS" 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

Literally just finished my rewatch of the whole show a couple hours ago

If you're gonna dig, dig to the heavens. Even if it's my own grave I'm digging, I won't stop! Once I break through, it means that I've won!

Was not aware they ever dubbed the movies, gonna go hunt that down now
