A good couple examples of a do or die situation. In the first clip, the shortstop took the long hop, fielded it cleanly but wasn’t able to throw the speedy runner out. Normally, sitting back to play the good hop is ideal but because there is speed at the plate, going in to attempt to get it on the short hop would have been the move on this play. In softball, these are incredibly hard decisions to make because the decision needs to be made in a matter of a second. This SS is a stud so no negativity at all - this is just a good visual to show sitting back in softball sometimes isn’t always the best decision, even if it’s the “better hop.” If I actually had footage of me and my playing days (🥴), I could show a handful of times where I decided to play the long hop and the runner was safe. Second clip shows a good example of reacting quickly and going in to get the short hop. I will say though, I always teach if you hesitate for even a second after your pre pitch hop and don’t move in to get the ball, you do have to sit back or the ball really will eat you up.

And, had it been that Piastri was a second a lap faster than him and somehow Lando was winning because a lot of things were happening, his car breaking down every time, then you could start thinking, okay, that's really not cool. That's not fair. But that wasn't the case. And in the second half, Norris has been faster right at the beginning as well, last year as well. So there's this whole middle of the season where Piastri was driving a lot better than Norris and was getting the points. Norris had an engine blowing up, not Piastri. And so those fans, they don't look at that either. You have to look at the whole picture, at the whole season. And suddenly if your favorite is starting to go backwards, you just got to bite the bullet and accept it. Your favorite is just going backwards. That doesn't mean that the other one is treated better or the other one is undeserving just because the one you're a fan of is not winning right now. That’s really wrong. If you're a fan of the sport, then you have to be a fan of the sport and understand when your driver is maybe not cutting it at this point in time, even though he was before and he will in the future again. That feeling was heartbreaking, because when you carry such a special hope in your heart for so long, even a small disappointment can feel enormous. Working on so many houses throughout the years, this hits close to home for me. I’ve experienced this more than I can count. There was a house that stuck with me, when I was renovating it, I even moved in to make it easier for me. It was a small 2 bedroom home, about 1100 sq ft. One day while working in the attic I felt a tug on my hair. This was when I had long hair and I tied it up in the back. But it felt like a pronounced and intentional tug. Later on I was able to confirm it was a child due to the small stature on the SLS camera. It explained the mischievous nature, of course it was a kid that liked to play pranks. The occupants in that home were never malevolent. Just curious. When asked how many there were on the spirit box, a voice proclaimed there were 7 of them. If you had spirits in your home, would you want to know? I know for the longest time I didn’t want to know, I figured it didn’t matter since I couldn’t see them anyways. Now, every time I enter a new home, I always run a sweep for activity. Not surprisingly most houses have a few occupants already present, they just choose not to be acknowledged.

no matter how bad belift promotion is, i hope many people will come to enhypen with a feeling like "oh.. they really deserve to be seen and loved by many people as artists and humans." it hurts watching them stay in this “almost” zone, always close but never fully pushed to where their potential could actually take them. and as fans, it’s exhausting too. being disappointed in the agency, feeling powerless about things we can’t control, yet still must to showing up for the things we can push. some days it really feels like we’re holding this together with pure love and loyalty. but at the end of the day, k-pop is always a two-way relationship. idols give their all to fans, and fans give feedback and support so the artists don’t fade out and can actually go long-term. we’re allowed to be mad at the company. we’re allowed to feel tired. but the least we can do for the boys themselves is not give up on the parts where fans can still push. i just hope enhypen know that even when things don’t go their way, there are many real engenes who truly see them. who believe they’re meant for more than just being “almost big” and who are still here out of genuine faith in who enhypen can become. you've worked hard ENHYPEN 🫳🏻🤍
