A little disclaimer😊 Evan Wallace is not on Twitter anymore. But you can follow his work here His webgl water demo is more than 10 years old but it is far from being old. It is packed with a lot of incredible features that my version still lacks, such as physics. Because it is a WebGL core implementation, I had to implement my own version using React Three Fiber. My code isn't based on his work. Not one single line of code was used from his repository. But visually, it reminds me of the same "3D aquarium" vibe and, as some guys mentioned, it is worth mentioning. One advantage is that my new version uses a custom shader material library, which means that all original mesh physical material properties are still available, making it more flexible for other usages (more on this soon 😬) I hope you like it.

All thanks to your amazing work @vercel. I would never be able to do what I do without Vercel 😍

😊

Can't believe how you're able to get the water wave collision perfect! 🌊🔥

Thanks mate hehe. It is far from being perfect I would say. But it is credible enough hehe. Thanks for your kind feedback!

Really good! 🙌

I still have an irrational fear of a shark in the pool

me too hehe. 😝
