Um, no. Just....no. Accepting Jesus + Repentance is the formula. You have to fully understand and be genuinely sorry for what you have done in life, and you can't fool God. If there's time, Confession and Penance is required. We hold that generally a quick apology doesn't work

It would be really insulting to get to heaven after a lifetime of being a decent person and see a bunch of terrorists there who did this.

I’m Catholic and I was never taught this- like genuinely, we were told if you are bad you go to hell and if you’re good you go to heaven. (naughty and nice list type shit) I did leave private school early but still. Either I wasn’t paying attention or… yeah probably that. 😓
