Imagine pulling up to the dog park and realizing one of the “dogs” playing out there is actually a coyote. That’s the situation here, and it’s a coin flip on how it goes: do you wait and see if it stays friendly, or step in and scare it off before things turn? These happened to be big dogs, so the coyote had zero interest in escalating anything. Swap that for a small or miniature dog and this story reads completely differently, possibly with a tragic ending instead of a funny clip. Wild animals blending into a dog park like this should be treated as a real risk, not a photo op. Would you have waited it out, or scared it off the second you realized?

The string pullers and the pawns all have a role. “I’m just doing my job” does not give you allowances. History won’t forget this.
