Really glad someone has made this chart. Lands a point I was making the other day. We've got to prioritise higher productivity growth in England's big cities—if national and regional leaders can make that happen then we will transform the whole country's economic prospects. Higher GDP isn't everything, but...

#WATCH | Delhi | Arjan Meijer, President and CEO, Embraer, says, "Embraer is very proud to stand here today. We're very, very pleased to sign our MOU with Adani. We see a bright future ahead of us here in India, and we believe the stars are aligning to advance the Make in India initiative. We believe there's a huge opportunity here with regional aircraft... In India, the current outstanding fleet we have today is around 800 units. But if you look at the backlog, we're looking at around 1,700 aircraft for the years ahead. But the regional part of that fleet is very small. So we really believe that, to develop India from within, the country needs a smaller-gauge aircraft to really help drive the country's GDP... The regional segment of jets is completely missing. If you see what the potential is in a country like India... So that's why we believe really that together with Adani we can work together with a goal to build the aircraft here in India, the exact aircraft type to be defined, so we will come back on that, but we are talking up to an assembly line, testing, delivery. We really believe in a partnership with Adani because they're very strong in supply chain, MRO, and pilot training, so we believe that, together, we can develop a very strong aviation ecosystem here in India. And of course, beyond that, we're very interested to work also with the Indian industry for much deeper localisation. We need to build our supply chain, and we believe that here in India, we can also do that with Indian partners ahead of us. So a potential first regional assembly line in India, that's what we're looking at here. We're very bullish about making that happen... But as I said, we want to develop the indigenous market over the years to make this a made-in-India aircraft. And that will allow India to really connect the second-tier and the third-tier cities in India. We know there's a lot of demand from smaller cities wanting to be connected to the bigger aerospace system. This will bring not only regional connectivity, this will bring economic and environmental benefits. It will facilitate business and trade across the country. We are very certain that we will boost tourism across the country and of course for every Indian provide everyday accessibility. So we believe the opportunity ahead of us is huge. And we're proud to be here today to announce the partnership with Adani, and we really look forward to making this a very successful future together here in India."

🚨 BREAKING: JD Vance has PERFECT economic messaging for Americans First and proves why he is on track to be 48 🇺🇸 “We had a policy in this country for 40 years of shipping American jobs overseas and hiring foreign workers instead of American workers.” “That has caused the economic stagnation of the American middle class. There was one bright spot in 40 years, and that was the first Trump administration.” “Even though we've made incredible progress, we understand that there's a lot more work to do.” “And the thing that I'd ask for the American people is a little bit of patience. This economy was not harmed in 10 months.” “It took a deliberate four-year administration that was making life harder for everyday Americans, that was importing foreign workers instead of giving jobs to American workers, that was over-regulating, over-taxing, over-spending.” “They were doing everything wrong. And as much progress as we've made, it's going to take a little bit of time for every American to feel that economic boom, which we really do believe is coming. We believe that we're on the front end of it.” “But we also recognize that we've got a lot of work to do to undo the damage that Joe Biden did to the American economy.” “And there was going to be a massive exception to that 40-year trajectory of American decline. And that's the second Trump administration. We just got to keep it going.”

.David Sacks: Trump’s AI Policies Could Fuel U.S. Economic Growth to 4%-5% "What you're seeing is that the adoption of AI applications is the fastest adoption curve we've ever seen. I think it's bigger than the iPhone, bigger than the internet itself, potentially. This technology is being adopted very, very fast by consumers and businesses, and I think it's going to fuel the growth of the American economy for years to come. I think we can get back to those 4 to 5% growth rates with AI as a tailwind. Again, it's facilitating major investment, major innovation, and I think President Trump has already helped facilitate this. He rescinded that 100-page Biden executive order on AI, which burdened AI companies with unnecessary regulation. We rescinded that 200-page rule that burdened semiconductor companies and data center companies with unnecessary regulation. President Trump is leading and he's driving the growth and the innovation, and it's a very different approach than we saw with the Biden administration. The Biden administration really was motivated and proceeded from a position of fear. It was, 'How can the government restrict this? This thing is so risky that we need to control it.' Whereas, I think the Trump administration is proceeding from a position of opportunity, which is, 'How do we take advantage of this technology? How do we drive the growth? How do we drive the investment?' Thanks to President Trump, you are seeing this boom, this novelty that started, and I think it will be one of the most important parts of his legacy."
