Really good experience with Tesla service today. They fixed EVERY Cybertruck recall in five hours. They also gave me a Model S loaner. But please look at it and tell me a “normal” person would be happy with this type of loaner. If you are buying a $100,000 Tesla,... getting a loaner in this condition is probably very offensive. I’ve always been very forgiving with Tesla. I really don’t care I just want them to succeed. But I’m just imagining like a 79 year old rich granny getting this thing and being obsoletely traumatized by how dirty it is. Can Tesla not allocate some hours to keep loaners clean? Run through a car wash and vacuum it out would do wonders. Plus clean the white stain from the back 😳show more

The Tesla Model 3/Y produced in the 2017-2024 timeframe all have just an air conditioning vent in the back. But it would be great to turn it into a smart screen that can watch movies, play games and other controls.

As I stated in response to @briandstone__ already, I have received loaners being dirty and cleaned them myself. I would rather have the understaffed service center fixing customer cars than cleaning the cars or loaners. Yes, that's not how it should be, but I think about others.

The Tesla service experience is genuinely unmatched. Dropping off your car and instantly hopping into a loaner with your cloud profile already synced (seat position, saved locations, music) is something no other automaker is doing today. Plus, from the parking spot in the back of the lot, I literally pressed a button and the car drove me home. I try not to be a total Tesla fanboy, but days like this make you appreciate how good the ownership experience actually is.

First drive done with FSD v12.6.4 on my AI3 Model 3 and it went great. Very similar behavior to Cybertruck actually. Zero disengagement, zero intervention drive on a very similar drive that I just did in CT. Went from Century City to the Santa Monica supercharger on the same route almost back to back with the two. They fixed the small issue with the turn signal coming on too early, as well as it now has earlier lane changes. Very similar to the Cybertruck drive I just did with v13.2.8. It even avoided a van that almost sideswiped me in a turn, smoothly and swiftly. AI3 is getting crazy good, such a smooth drive. You can really tell it wants to back into a parking spot, but can’t yet. It swings out and all you have to do is reverse into it. So far, really good update. Feels like a more polished v12.6.3 which was already very good. Great work Tesla AI team!

Grok in Tesla does English-Spanish translation with a couple of Uber passengers. I love Grok in Tesla! This is now one of the best parts of owning my Tesla. My car not only talks with me, but it talks to my Uber customers as well, in their own mother language. There are still a few quirks with Grok in Tesla, possibly due to there being no microphone for passengers in the back seat, so Grok may cut off and interrupt passengers mid-sentence sometimes, but I have noticed that even this is getting better week-to-week. But overall, Grok in Tesla is an absolute game changer and is making new fans of Tesla from people that have never been in one until getting into the back of mine.

If you are thinking about buying a Tesla Cybertruck please be mindful of the $3500 Cyber wheels. They are the best wheels in my opinion, they look great, but they are constantly becoming misaligned. It’s a chore to take them completely apart to realign them. One thing you can do is just use a wheel cap kit and not use the covers but the covers just look so cool and futuristic.

I feel like anyone who buys a Tesla at this point in time is just a dipshit clout chaser yeah they were cool 10 years ago when electric cars were still emerging but if you get a good electric car like the new Audis you’ll quickly realize how shitty Teslas are it was just a one trick pony kinda thing but then everyone else figured out how to make electric cars as well driving in a Tesla is so much more uncomfortable than this car like driving this car is just so smooth and comfy and it has auto assist so it basically drives itself with minimal input also Teslas are ugly as fuck because Elon is a retard with 0 aesthetic sense Tesla could never make as beautiful and comfy a car as this

Driving a Tesla in Europe is fun and works well (will be even better with FSD) … BUT, there is one very common and annoying issue that really needs to be addressed. Crossing country borders, especially for those who live close to the borders is extremely annoying because connectivity is often lost and can only be regained quickly by doing a two-button reset on the move. This is really a big issue because you also lose navigation while the connection is lost and happens so frequently this is becoming the unofficial standard practice. I’ve heard from many European Tesla owners that they really wish there was a better solution and it would make ownership and driving a much better experience. Hopefully Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa and Tesla can figure out and offer some kind of software update to eliminate this frequent customer complaint issue!

I spent over 4 hours driving today on Tesla FSD, and even though I’ve had so much experience with it, I’m constantly amazed by it. People will never understand how transformative it is until they experience it firsthand. It removes all anxiety and road rage. My car drove me over 115 miles today. It parked, navigated downtown with pedestrians and traffic everywhere, then drove me home without me ever touching the steering wheel or pedals, all with just a push of a button. This is the future.
